The other day, I was wondering why the number of Facebook subscribers I had was not growing at all organically. After some sleuthing, and the help of a friend, I was able to change two privacy settings around. Since then, my Facebook subscribers have begun to grow organically (albeit slowly).

The first thing to do is, of course, enable subscribers. Facebook’s directions for doing that can be found here.

The first privacy setting to change is called “Who can look up your timeline by name or contact info?” That can be found in your main privacy settings page under the “How You Connect” tab. Read more
