I've been here many a year, if you count back all the way to the Sandbox, so it's tough to say goodbye. I wish you well, although that seems pretty silly, given the coming apocalypse. What? You don't think that's going to happen? Well, okay, there's room for all opinions hereabouts. And if it doesn't happen? Well, of course, I'll be back here to give you firsthand reports from America's frontier of absurdity and training ground for bad government, Texas. What did you think this was, one of those exasperated statements of I-hate-what-this-place-has-become, I'm-outta-here? Nah, just a little lunchtime amusement. |

That's impressive Nah, just stuck in my hill country bunker awaiting Armageddon. May have to sip some Cognac. |

I got some 18 year old for my last night Bourbon, that is. That plus a good Cuban cigar and I am ready. Sadly when it actually happens I will be at work. Probably nursing a hangover from the bourbon! |

The "timing" of the end? If you ask me, it's just another part of the War on Christmas. |

It's nearly 8 am here on the east coast... and nothing yet. If this apocalypse doesn't happen soon, I'm going to have a lot of last minute Christmas shopping to do! |

It's not the End of the World As We knew It Yeah, still here. Trying to find some Christmas spirit. I know I left it somewhere, just have to find it. Oddly enough, I got given a pair of Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets for tonight's performance in San Antonio. That should give things a jump start. |

That's what the Mayans get for relying on Rasmussen for their predictions. Enjoy the show Tex (it's awesome). At least you didn't believe the End of the Worlders; then you'd have to stay at home and un-pack. |
