The New York Observer reports that Associated Press reporter Sam Dolnick will join the Metro desk at The New York Times. Oh, and he's the grandnephew of former NYT publisher Arthur Ochs "Punch" Sulzberger. A Times spokeswoman said Dolnick will start September 14.
