Most nonprofit interns are uncompensated. |

Stipend or by the hour Many of the non-profit internships I place students in are not compensated. Some offer a stipend, a one-time lump sum, at the end of a successful internship. Still some offer $10 per hour. If pay is important, make sure you pre-qualify the internship before getting too deep into the process with the organization. In some non-profits, these kinds of funds have to be earmarked, or grant-funded, to be approved. |

We are a educational nonprofit that uses interns. We offer course credit - no pay. |
