Just saw an ad several times this evening for Obama which has a sound bite from Brian Williams in it. I thought that kind of thing was a no-no for the BIg Three, although on many blogs it's been said that it's quite obvious what side NBC is on, but still, aren't they supposed to put forth that they take no sides? We all know what side Fox is on but they're considered cable, so I guess the neutrality rule doesn't apply for them (as much as it does/should for a network). |

would like to see the clip before commenting. did Williams record an actual testimonial specifically to be used in the ad? or did they just take a clip from Nightly News? if it's the latter, I don't see how that's his fault. |

It's a clip taken from one the Nightly News broadcasts, but I'm sure someone had to give the OK that it be used for an pro-Obama spot. |
