If you are going to claim "conspiracy theory," please explain exactly what the theory is for those of us that don't know.

Thank you.

bump for MP who, again, claims I believe in "conspiracy." Prove it.

This is the funniest thing I've read all day! Thanks for posting it.

Why is it funny?

You cry conspiracy theory every other post, EVEN WHEN there are links that can connect you with facts from primary sources.

Do you like thinking everything is a conspiracy theory? You yell it a lot.

There is a serious lack of knowledge on this board when snopes is your "go to" for information. It is NOT a source. It is a hubby and wife website that features their own opinions supported by cherry-picked material.

Neither the hubby or the wife is:
a writer
an editor
a fact checker
a researcher
a private investigator
a detective

So why are you depending on THEM for your information?

Because snopes has an incredible track record...

in debunking conspiracies theories.

They provide links to primary sources debunking myths and also track the history of conspiracy theories through documentation.

How to create a conspiracy

Step one, accumulate a bunch of facts. Does not matter if they are actually connected, in fact the less they are connected the better.
Step two, now arrange these facts in some kind of order to determine the REAL truth, the hidden truth that those in charge don't want you to know.
Step three, now repeat the new REAL truth often. While most will dismiss it there will be those with the "insight" to see the REAL truth.
Step four, now form a group of those who see the REAL truth. Create websites and post emails telling everyone the REAL truth because the "media" has been paid off to ignore the REAL truth.

Any of this sound familiar?

Snopes...

Always documents what they are debunking. If you can show where they have been wrong, I am interested in hearing. Everything I have looked up to check out has been accurate. If you have a better site, I will use that.

Step five: In order to preserve the REAL truth, presume that all media (except those spreading the REAL truth) are much stupider than you are, not to mention deceptive, gullible and part of a massive worldwide plan to kill off the buyers of the products and services of the advertisers who keep them in business.
Step six: Visit media sites regularly to tell news people that they're not doing their jobs as well as you could. Include links to material you've skimmed but don't really understand, as media people won't read or understand it either, since they're stupid, deceptive and gullible.
Step seven: Pretend that you don't know what a "conspiracy theory" is, and try to waste news people's time by asking them to explain it so that they're paying attention to you instead of getting paid -- in other words, prove to them that by replying, they are stupid, deceptive and gullible. Be sure to end your note with "thank you," so as to appear polite.

step eight..

try to sell gold.. lots and lots of gold..

mpdodgson Posted - 3/1/2013 5:38:38 PM | show profile | flag this post

Step Nine

Instead of ending it with 'thank you'...hurl out some piece of manure--and then challenge the other guy to "Prove it." or 'Prove me wrong'. Love that one.

hurl out some piece of manure

You'll need it to fertilize your non-hybrid seeds.

For the coming apocalypse
