Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) issued a public apology after being arrested for drunken driving in Alexandria, Va., early Sunday morning. Jody Donaldson, a spokesperson for the Alexandria Police Department, said in an e-mail that Crapo was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Sunday. An Alexandria police officer noticed Crapo’s vehicle run through a red traffic light, and after the vehicle was stopped, the officer conducted field sobriety tests, which Crapo failed, Donaldson said. Crapo was arrested for driving under the influence, and taken into custody without incident, Donaldson said." Is he not going "home" for the Christmas holiday? Just curious. I will give him credit for owning up to what he did and not scream "it's a librul cornspiracy!"

orthicon	Posted - 12/24/2012 12:26:54 AM \| show profile \| flag this post he'll have some ''splainin'' to do back home.. his mainly mormon, and very conservative, constituents will want the answers.. it's often said the idaho mormons are more doctrinaire than the utah variety these days.. utah has a thin veneer of worldly sophistication now, due to the huge influx of industries and businesses that have moved there, bringing with them thousands of non-mormons to work and live there.. sophistication is not a label one associates with idaho..
