It's pitiful how little the american press concerns itself with this guy. He runs the Justice Department as an agency to harass and disrupt the lives of those he POLITICALLY disagrees with. His and his boss' political, social agendas seem to guide his agencies investigations and prosecutions. And they always seem to have the end game of getting more people (those who live off our taxes and who do most of the whining) to vote in more democrats.
This AG is a joke.

newscred..you shouldn't post without cruiztwit's o.k..
because you might be seen as trying to muscle in on the pay he gets for postinvg HIS crap on gthese boards..
unless, of course, you're already on the Koch payroll.. it'
s beginning to sound as though you are..

And what really pisses me off
is that in pursuit of that mysterious unknown social agenda, those b*stards at Justice actually have to have evidence of some kind. That just frosts my cupcake. I mean...you just can't blatantly accuse somebody of something POLITICALLY horrible these days without even one lousy example....
And sure...you could read "always seem to have the end game of getting more people (those who live off our taxes and who do most of the whining) to vote in more democrats" as monstrously racist, and you'd be right, but it's pretty lame compared to what actual Republican congressmen have said lately.

newscred, you forget who's in his house?
eric holder lied under otah, pushed a pardon for the worst tax cheat in history, dropped cases the doj had already won, selectivity enforced civil rights and voting rights laws. did i miss anything?
oh yeah, holder is a democrat..........

"did i miss anything?"
A successful career.
A worthwhile life.
Respect from other people.

"did i miss anything?"
Yep. If Holder ever resigns in absolute horrible disgrace, get back to me.
(A classic Bush era vid; worth the whole 50 seconds)

another phony scandal......
More Fast and Furious guns surface at crimes in Mexico
Three more weapons from Fast and Furious have turned up at crime scenes in Mexico, CBS News has learned, as the toll from the controversial federal operation grows.
According to Justice Department tracing documents obtained by CBS News, all three guns are WASR-10 762-caliber Romanian rifles. Two were purchased by Fast and Furious suspect Uriel Patino in May and July of 2010. Sean Steward, who was convicted on gun charges in July 2012, purchased a third. The rifles were traced yesterday to the Lone Wolf gun shop in Glendale, Ariz.
Last November, a Fast and Furious weapon was found at a shootout between a Mexican drug cartel and soldiers where a beauty queen was killed. Two weapons used in the murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico on Feb. 15, 2011 also came from suspects who were under ATF watch but not arrested at the time. And two Fast and Furious AK-47 type rifles were recovered from the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010; he'd been shot by illegal immigrants who were smuggling drugs.
ATF special agent John Dodson blew the whistle on his agency's gunwalking in an interview with CBS News in 2011.
The government first denied any guns had been allowed to "walk" into criminal hands
Grassley to Holder: Why is Your Department Hiding New Fast and Furious Murders?
of course those who are trying to get to the truth about fast and furious are called "obstructionist" and "racist". the obama administration continues its "unprecedented and unnecessary" stonewalling. liberals continue to tell us there is no there there.

One of GW Bush's weirder mistakes.

Fast and Furious...
a Bush-era idea and a program that was shut down before Holder even heard of it.

I'm sure this is about...
Holder's plan to stop mandatory drug sentences for non-violent drug offenders. It is a plan that has the support of both repubs and democrats. It wastes people's lives and taxpayers dollars to incarcerate people who smoke a little pot. Meanwhile the politicians who pass these laws go home and get drunk while abusing their rx meds. The hypocrisy needs to end and thank goodness we have someone like Holder who has the intelligence to stop it. Of course, anything done by ANYONE in the Obama Admin will always be criticized by the know nothing right wing idiots like newscred and his ilk.

No, Fast & Furious was ONLY an Obama fiasco
The Bush-era program was Wide Receiver, which concluded prior to the end of his term and never DELIBERATELY allowed hundreds of guns to walk to Mexico. It was haphazard monitoring by Mexican authorities that caused the plan to break down.
Conversely, Fast & Furious deliberately allowed straw-purchased firearms to be transported to Mexico while keeping Mexican authorities completely in the dark. The scheme was approved and funded by DOJ.
After months of this even the dealers who were selling to straw purchasers became suspicious and complained but the program was not curtailed.
These facts are why Holder was unwilling to be candid with congressional investigators and why Obama declared executive privilege over the entire scheme. He wanted to shield his AG from well deserved criticism...and possible removal from office.

Just today it was reported that
three more guns traceable to Fast & Furious have surfaced at Mexican crime scenes. All were Romanian AK-47 style weapons...all traced to the same Arizona gun shop, two purchased by a single straw purchaser, the third by another.
The echoes of Fast & Furious are going to be reverberating both north and south of the border for years to come.

bush was president after jan. 2009? according to etaoin and crustie, yes.
proudlib, how many of these "non-violent drug offenders" become repeat offenders?

for FINALLY admitting that Fast & Furious grew out of the Bush-era Wide Reciever program.
Now, you just need to get caught up on the news that it was SHUT DOWN before Holder ever heard of it.

fast & furious is not a "bush-era idea".
"it was SHUT DOWN before Holder ever heard of it."
sure about that? holder has told so many lies it is hard to tell what he knew and when he knew it....

we're sure about that..
unlike you, we actually know how to do research..

The ONLY thing any of you left wingers are sure about
is that you're trying to alibi Holder and Obama and shift the blame for Fast & Furious to Bush. It ain't gonna work. There are WAY too many of us who know the truth and can articulate it through our writings, etc.
And I would never "admit" F&F grew out of Wide Receiver because it didn't...period. That was a particularly stupid middle-school-level rhetorical stunt.

"unlike you, we actually know how to do research.."
if true, you would know holder lied about when he first learned about fast and furious.
research shows this isn't the first time holder lied to congress....

You guys can believe whatever you want. You're both big-time swallowers of uber-right-wingnut baloney. Doesn't make you good citizens. Doesn't make you smart. Doesn't make you capable of looking up information, since you like it all to be fed to you. But you're only two ineffectual blips in the electorate anyway.

A "fact is a fact"
From CBS news:
Please take the time to read this. There is much misinformation contained within this thread. Sorry for the interruption, but if you guys really want to discuss an issue you should start with facts and go from there.

Thank you, blacked....
that breakdown is clear enough for even cruzo to follow.
Yes, "Fast and Furious" was part of a Bush-era project (Project Gunrunner) and yes, Holder was not aware of it until it blew up and he ordered an IG investigation of the operation.
It points out that Holder has been consistent in saying he was unaware of the program until the program was shut down.

"fact is a fact" indeed......
spin is spin.... no matter how much etaoin tries to wash fast and furious- the holder/obama/clinton stain just won't come out.....

con obviously didn't bother to read the post story..
before slamming it as liberal spin..
which calls into question whether or not he CAN read..or whether he's just another illiterate rightwingnut..
