"Food" for thought

I wonder how the various philosophies represented here will evaluate this:

I just had a hunch
the left wingers on here wouldn't go anywhere near this because D'Souza's analogy makes the actions of the Obama administration so understandable.
Posted - 1/26/2013 9:07:39 AM | show profile | flag this post
Can't speak for anyone else
But I didn't go near it because A) I was busy and B) Dsouza is a well known turdball wingnut Obama hater. You can relate.
Anyone who writes (and believes) "O]ur President is trapped in his father's time machine. Incredibly, the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s. This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anticolonial ambitions, is now setting the nation's agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son." CAN'T be taken seriously. I've had more contact with you cruise than Obama had with his father.
"The cultural left in this country is responsible for causing 9/11 ..." Yea. Can't argue with logic like that.

This is NOT about Obama's father
...and you know it. It's about an analogy that clearly and consicely elucidates Obama's wealth redistribution schemes.

It's a basic courtesy when posting links on public forums to provide a short explanation of what others will find there.
It's also a basic courtesy not to demand that other posters drop everything to respond.
Good on everyone for not taking the bait on this one, as four posts in, the intent in starting the thread was plainly not "food for thought."

"It's about an analogy...
that clearly and consicely elucidates Obama's wealth redistribution schemes".....
Right. Two guys, one sandwich, and Obama on a horse with a gun.
What could be clearer??
If you think a set-up like that is "concise", I thought it was perfectly reasonable of me to point out the speakers past history.,i.e, he's kind of a kooky disgraced Obama hater, and shouldn't be taken seriously.
But then I think the same about you; so consider that as 'food for thought'.

"It's a basic courtesy when posting links on public forums"
Just who in the hell do you think you are??? You...with your unbounded hatefulness and acidic disposition...have zero knowledge of "basic courtesy."
It'd be a basic courtesy if you'd go away and never post here again.
Posted - 1/26/2013 1:03:54 PM | show profile | flag this post
"What could be clearer??"
It chaps your hide that the analogy so graphically elucidates Obama's agenda that virtually everyone can understand it...and how they might be negatively affected by it.
Everyone with an IQ higher than room temperature can plainly see its basic unfairness...perhaps even criminality.
These socialistic wealth redistribution schemes have been tried repeatedly over the decades in various parts of the globe...and have NEVER worked as promised.
That you would support Obama in this scam plainly demonstrates how you're wired up.

I don't read links you post. I barely read your posts. You had a interesting title for this thread and then you completely failed engaging anyone in conversation by refusing to give a few words on the subject. Since no one took a bite, you come back and insult.
You are really just a nasty bastard.

just say no...
to ANY cruiztwit topic..
he'll self-destruct sooner or later..

Gee you're dumb.
(Quoting "Otter" never gets old, and I'm just as stupid for responding to you, but we'll get back to there in a minute)
"It chaps your hide that the analogy so graphically elucidates Obama's agenda" Okay first of all, the wife is the only one allowed to chap my hide.
Second; you have the gall to accuse Grateful of "unbounded hatefulness and acidic disposition"??? Hell, that's you blind-folded. Your blood type is unbounded hatefulness. You sweat acidic disposition. "You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel..." You get the point.
Third, I have only myself to blame for responding to this jerk. "These socialistic wealth redistribution schemes have been tried repeatedly over the decades" OH. LIKE MY TAXES. When will you get it through that pointed little head of yours that me paying for Dubya's wars (without him asking my permission I might add) is the same thing as me paying for YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY since you've admitted you'e 65+ or 75+ or dead, whatever....
"support Obama in this scam" I don't consider Health Care for Americans as a "scam". Yea, I'm all "wired up" for this 'General Welfare' principle.
PS. Gloating again. Our philosophy won, yours lost.

mp.. might as well join me in giving it up.. you see..
NONE of that stuff ever happened..
on cruiztwit's planet..wingnutia..
i repeat.. refuse to engage him on ANY topic..
let him talk himself to death..

"paying for Dubya's wars"
Like I said the other day, left wingers have to go back in history to drag up something they consider morally equivalent in an effort to justify or excuse bad behavior by Democrats.
I know you're a committed Obama supporter but even you cannot deny that wealth redistribution is a socialistic scheme that has been tried elsewhere WITHOUT the promised success...ever.
Obama now has more people in government employment, on food stamps, on welfare and on disability than ever before in our history. That is plainly unsustainable. NONE of those activities create wealth...they merely consume it.
It takes a robust private sector to create wealth.

I've been very patient waiting for that day
Hoping some morning to read 'Obama the Nazi Mao Stlain like Socialist just did....ARGGGGHHHHH! (thump)

The biggest wealth re-distribution scheme
...in my lifetime has been the declaration of two unnecessary wars, paid for on the American credit card, and distributing that wealth to government contractors and weapons manufacturers. My daughter, and when she has kids, perhaps her kids will be paying for it.
And why on God's green earth I have to remind a so-called conservative of this is pretty mind boggling in and of itself. Deficit spending for health care for Americans makes imminently more sense than deficit spending for what we've done in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Remember that famous "Debt Clock"
That Romney would have running behind him on the campaign trail??
That spinning number includes "paying for Dubya's wars"...But when I point that out to cruise (or others) it's "Like I said the other day, left wingers have to go back in history..."
It's NOT history. You don't pay for devastating WARS like you just bought an XBox at Walmart. Here's another 'running total' page you should look at: Just watch for a few seconds.
It just keeps going and going and going...The VAST amount of that money could have been used to pay down the debt and deficit. And when you add in the un-countable factor of lives lost--Yea. Food stamps are such a huge problem. Jeez.

It's eminently clear that you hate George W. Bush
and that sentiment permeates your entire being.
Posted - 1/27/2013 1:47:41 PM | show profile | flag this post
I'll hate ANY president
Who starts a couple of ill planned, needless wars (knowing but not caring about the costs involved--human and financial).
That of course goes for Bush--and IF Obama repeated those disastrous mistakes, I'd hate him too. You just can't handle the logic of it all.
Posted - 1/27/2013 2:03:36 PM | show profile | flag this post
I "handle the logic"
perfectly. You hate George W. Bush and that sentiment permeates your entire being. One has only to note your frequent (constant?) rants against him to see for oneself.
I suspect that derives from the fact that Mr. Bush is the antithesis of Barack Obama, over whom you fawn and whom you support blindly and unconditionally.

*** that sentiment permeates your entire being ***
mp, now do you understand that he cannot comprehend human beings in the same way as other people do? You're playing with (and enabling) someone who isn't capable of viewing any of us except as flat objects.
Posted - 1/27/2013 9:00:04 PM | show profile | flag this post
Or in your case...DEARIE...
a fat object.

i think we'd all agree that cruiztwit..
crossed a line with his last post ..
what are we going to do about it?
start by totally boycotting anything the poster boy for ignorant a**holes writes..
then everyone deluge mediabistro to have him cut off..
he's just a waste of bandwidth.. and oxygen..
Posted - 1/27/2013 11:54:21 PM | show profile | flag this post
orth, he is indeed a blight on a professional forum. However, the only line he crossed with his last post was the line around his own personality issue. I'm embarrassed for him that he insists on trotting it out so constantly and so publicly.
Remember, he knows none of us in real life. He could call me dearie and fat all day, and it wouldn't dent my self-image or turn me fat. The objectionable part of it is, if he needs to act like a child toward other people, a professionals forum isn't the place for it.
Moreover, he's an interloper here, by his own admission not a media professional and with no interest in the profession. This and his online behavior make it clear that he doesn't belong here and needs to be 86ed.
I'm with you, orth. I hope the others have the self control to do the same. It's long overdue.

Oh but I am a media professional...and it chaps your hide
I've been a freelance writer for MANY years...and writers are most certainly part of the media. Live with it.
