It appears Harry Reid has learned from Obama that all that needs to be done to get what he wants is change the rules. Forget the constitution, forget centuries of precedent, forget what's ethically right...just do it.

And since the press isn't going to explain the dangers of it to their viewers and certainly aren't going to say anything negative about a democrat, we're set on a path where the majority in the senate, by diminishing the minority's ability to fight, will be able to ram rod through any court nomination they want. The courts will be packed with radicals.

Again, this administration and all those politicians who support it are following an agenda that is bent on transforming this nation -- as Obama said he'd do -- into a social-democrat form of government, the kind of governments we see (failing) all over europe.

I guess this is where someone here calls me a racist because I oppose the policies of this administration.

Half of all Presidential Nominees

...have occurred during the Obama administration. That doesn't seem a mite obstructionist? Or more accurately, TOTALLY obstructionist.

Half of all Presidential nominees filibustered were done so during the Obama administration.

"It appears Harry Reid has learned ..."

It's apparent he's learned more than you have.

Tell me exactly where "Forget the constitution" comes into play. show me where the filibuster is in the Consitution.

While you're looking that one up, explain to me how 'majority rules' is un-ethical. Can't wait for that. I may be, just may be, the biggest Dem/Lib here--and I have always argued for simple majority rule. EVERY bill, every nomination, Yes, even to the point of abolishing the Electoral College and going with the straight vote.

"And since the press isn't going to explain the dangers of it to their viewers and certainly aren't going to say anything negative about a democrat". Crap. I saw NBC, CBS, and CNN tear into Reid for this. Don't care. I still think 'Majority Rules' is a fine principle...and yea, you're a liar.

"The courts will be packed with radicals" Uh, how?? When the majority--WHOEVER THAT IS--votes for them, they take the bench. And, as we all know, the "majority" can and will change. If you truly believe that 'majority rule' is "bent on transforming this nation"---Wow. Capital Wow. We have elections.......why????

"Half of all Presidential nominees filibustered

were done so during the Obama administration"

You seem to forget...or think we have forgotten...that the reason the so-called "nuclear option" was even devised is because Democrats were holding up all of GWB's supreme court nominees.

But the GOP had sense enough not to implement it.

But ass-kissing, water-carrying Reid and his posse are on a mission to help Obama "fundamentally transform" the judiciary...just like he's trying to do to the USA.

Democrats will learn to rue this day...and will for decades. The elephant never forgets.

Where's your facts, cruiser

A quick googling suggests you're quite wrong.

"A look at the confirmation rates for district court nominees picked by the past four presidents shows a mixed bag: For Mr. Obama, the Senate approved 143 of his 173 nominees; for President George W. Bush, 170 of 179 nominees; for President Bill Clinton, 170 of 198 nominees; and for President George H.W. Bush, 150 of 195 nominees."

Still posting no facts

...to back up your claim, cruiser?

Waaaah! Republican babies get spanked...

The filibuster is a time honored sacred right in the Senate which was meant to protect the rights of the minority party. The Repub Senators under Obama have chosen to misuse it to give themselves their own little majority where a 60% vote was needed to pass ANYTHING. The Senate has become a virtual gridlock with nothing being passed, including important judicial nominees. The repubs have been throwing a temper tantrum since Obama was elected, and since they can't beat him with a majority vote, they have decided to just shut down Congress, and when they can the whole government. Remember, the "nuclear option" was devised by the repubs to override dems who held up just a few nominations. The dems got the idea and made a deal to stop filibustering in order to keep the rule in place. Repubs had made a deal with Reid and went back on it. When you act like a five year old, you get treated like one. Reid sent Cruz and his limp dick buddies up to their rooms to contemplate what they did. Ha! About time Reid showed some balls. It was nice seeing Mitch McConnell go through his own nuclear event.

Hey, cruiser-loser...

The courts will be packed with liberals? Yeah, watch out...all the liberal presidents are responsible for loading up the courts with those liberal judges...Just like Earl Warren, the whipping boy of conservatives to this day...oh, wait. He was appointed by Eisenhower. Oops! Sometimes you don't know what you are going to get with a lifetime appointment. Just thought I would give you a history lesson since you have obviously never opened a book yourself. Stop watching Fox, stop reading Drudge and quit listening to Rush! It makes you stupid.

Allright then, let the record show

...that cruiser was vocalizing out of his rectum again about this, and when asked to present the facts, he could not do so. The facts present a different tale than he was weaving.
