Apprently not. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani says FEMA was as bad in the aftermath of Sandy as it was after Katrina. This rather succinctly sums it up: “The president getting all this credit so early, maybe the first day or two he was paying attention, but the minute he got his credit, the minute he got his pat on his back, we had the same situation as we had in Benghazi,” Giuliani said. “He loses focus. He goes back to being campaigner-in-chief rather than commander-in-chief.” http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1112/83321.html |

rudy has lost it.. and so, apparently, has cruiztwit.. did he really think the president was gonna sit there and run FEMA?.. did he perhaps think the president would be there, pumping gas?..building shelters?..spooning food into trays?.. does he have any idea how government really works?.. apparently not.. neither one of them do..but they're both REALLY desperate to try to tar the president with anything.. i used to kinda respect rudy..before he went off the deep end.. |

Gov Christie has had nothing but praise for both FEMA and the WH...even including phone calla at midnight and at two in the morning.... Daily Fox guest Rudy has no more credibility on this than issue than his tag team partner Trump. |

you're even dumber than cruiztwit, if that's even possible.. the president set the wheels in motion, then told the people who do the work to go do the work.. whic h they're doing.. how many navy tankers are there in the harbor, loaded with gas and diesel?..at least four, and more coming.. how many crews are in the area, restoring power to people.. hundreds.. including 20 rigs and 50 people from here in san diego..who mobilized that? how many trucks and ships are there, or headed there, with food and supplies?..too many to count.. the list goes on and on.. who set all that in motion? the president of the united states, and the good people who work for him.. nice try for political points, but you ain't sellin it here, pal.. |

"did he really think the president was gonna sit there and run FEMA?" That's EXACTLY what you jackasses complained that Bush didn't do following Katrina. I've never seen such blatant hypocrisy in my life. |

" I've never seen such blatant hypocrisy in my life." Except when I re-read some of my old posts. Then I do. But I do that for a reason, and I don't need to explain myself to you pal. |

i expected bush to do exactly what he did.. make one flyover, and then hand the job off to some of the most stumbling, fumbling incompetents ever to find their way onto the federal payroll.. "..heck of a job, brownie." bush didn't disappoint me at all.. |

But the topic was FEMA under OBAMA. But of course left wingers don't want to address Obama's stumbling, fumbling response so they're trying to change the subject. |

obama's response is doing just fine, given the size of.. the problem.. sandy was a much bigger, more powerful storm that katrina.. affected millions more people over a much wider geographical area.. you'll notice that FEMA had tons and tons of disater aid pre-positioned and ready to go..something heck of ajob brownie and bush apparently never thought of..even though they had plenty of wsaring what was coming.. sorry.. your effort to make political points outa this one is failing.. badly.. |

p.s. before opining on a topic you should learn what you speak of. |

Practice what you preach. And if it's at all possible for you to muster some thread of civility, it would be nice to see it once in a while. |

FEMA Should be Eliminated... Soon But only after we use it and this storm to criticize Obama. While it seems hypocritical, I think of it as Mittocritical. That's the ability to oppose something one day and support it the next if it's politically expedient. No one does this more than I. I have reported on this extensively when I'm not wearing the uniform and traveling in space. After we have used the storm's victims to score some political points, we'll go back to calling for its elimination. How do you like that pal? |

What do you expect from the GOP... the only way Romney was ever competitive in this race was when Obama rolled over in the first debate. They're all besides themselves wishing he'd just stopped campaigning all together. Then, maybe just then, Romney might have stood a chance of winning. |

This dude reminds me of Ed McMahon on the Tonight Show...cranking out the (pseudo) belly laughs even when Johnny's jokes were falling flat. |

Just Like Ed McMahon Except he never predicted the Romney landslide forecast by SPC and thesecondcoming. And when Romney sweeps into the Whitehouse by more than 10% and probably well over 12% of the vote, FEMA will be no more. Take that east coast liberal storm victims! |
