Bleak! Was just thinking of you and all our O/T friends! Happy New Year dear friends! Anyone want to share how they're doing? There's an expression... You are only as happy as your least happy child. My kids are all well and happy. I am blessed...and happy. Had the pleasure, this past year of meeting some of my favorite authors. The highlight of my year was meeting Geoff Dyer, arguably England's best living author. Now if I could just meet Tarantino this year....Here's a random question to start the year off...What artist would you like to meet this year and why? |

Maybe if MB used modern forum technology, more people would visit. As it stands now, without the ability to quote or edit, and with the forums buried, it seems MB wants the forum to disappear. |

Hi, I'm still alive, but unemployed :-( I don't remember if I posted that I got laid off in August. 2012 was an AWFUL, HORRIBLE year for me for numerous reasons. At least my health is holding. Are we trying to revive RTQ's? I'll check back in a few days to see if anyone is responding. |

Hey Nandy, nice to see that someone posted here...Bleak started the post and never came back, I peek in every couple weeks to see if anyone has posted in this section but alas it is quite dead. Sorry to hear about your 2012 but glad your health is holding, mine is not so good now and is putting a cramp in my active lifestyle for sure but I shall persevere - spring is nearly sprung, hoping more sunshine and lollipops will do the trick ;-) |

Been a dog's age and then some! Greetings, onetime RTQers. Have had two too many layoffs in the past year, but all in the household are healthy and happy so no cause to complain. Hope all are well, and those with mentioned ailments or job probs on the road to recovery. |

I've been MIA for so long but good to drop by and see so many familiar names. Will have to try to get back now and then. I do miss RTQ. I hate the redesign. Bleh. I've been busy with work (thankfully) and with my 2nd kid who is now - holy moly time flies - 3 and a giant ball of testosterone-and-goldfish-cracker-fueled insanity. |

too sad I agree, the redesign buries the Bulletinboard even more so than before. It's a ghost town and I feel pretty sad about it! |

VR! Were you in Quebec? I always think about you and what a wonderful time we had meeting in NY. Hope to get back there soon. wish I cold spend my summers in my old stomping grounds in the Hamptons. No place like it in the summer. I am so pleased that you will go hear Edie speak, she is a wonderful, wonderful woman. I love her to pieces...I haven't seen her in years but we did chat on text last year. Please do say hello for me and give her a big hug too! How's the big guy doing? Hope his health has been on the rebound and he is doing well. xoxo |

So...any chance of new life here? Things are excellent these days, finally. I had my left hip replaced Feb. 6, 2012 and pain-free life is lovely. Malled was published in China this month and my third book proposal will go out to publishers soon. Freelance work is really busy...all is blessedly good. I miss RTQs and this crowd, too. |
