Jack Murnighan is the director of content for Babble.com. Prior to this, he was editor-in-chief of Nerve.com. Jack is the author of four books, including Much Ado About Loving and Beowulf on the Beach: What to Love and What to Skip in Literature's 50 Greatest Hits. He appears frequently on NPR and has had essays and short stories included in eleven anthologies and a variety of magazines. Jack has a Ph.D. in medieval literature, but long ago cast off his mortarboard to reach out to a popular audience.
