He spent 8 years in digital marketing for ESPN.com and Mobile ESPN.

Jim hosts a popular podcast called The Hopkinson Report, delivering conversations around new media, technology, and branding that teach people how to pursue their ideal career and lifestyle. His book Salary Tutor: Learn the Salary Negotiation Secrets No One Ever Taught You was published in 2011 by Grand Central Publishing, and his writing has appeared in the WallStreetJournal.com, Forbes.com, Monster.com, Yahoo Finance, and the New York Post.
