She has worked as a freelance reporter for the New York Post and as an editor at Redbook and Marie Claire. Julia has a masters in journalism from American University and spent two years as deputy managing editor of TheCrimeReport.org. She is currently a writer for CBSNews.com and the author of the novel, "Invisible City."
