Kate McKean is Vice President and Literary Agent at the Howard Morhaim Literary Agency. Her list focuses on fiction for both adults and teens, as well as practical and narrative nonfiction, especially craft and humor. Her recent sales include middle-grade author Mary G. Thompson's debut YA AMY, CHELSEA, STACIE, DEE, and a new novel in The New York Times Bestselling YA author Madeleine Roux's ASYLUM series. Kate is an adjunct professor at New York University and has taught fiction writing workshops for Slice Literary Magazineand English courses for the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her Master's degree in Fiction Writing at the University of Southern Mississippi.
