The nut-case head of Media Matters, David Brock, armed his personal assistant with several firearms...including a Glock handgun which he was not licensed to carry and which was purchased with cash out of organization funds...as Brock had fantasies of being targeted by right wing groups.

"According to a knowledgeable source" "apparently with" and "one-time aide"...Ya can't beat reporting like that. Oh, and Andrew Breitbart was assassinated....Read all about it....

I can't believe this...
no, WAIT! I CAN! You people support the "outing" in a newspaper of people who PERFECTLY LAWFULLY own firearms or are licensed to carry concealed...BUT YOU GIVE A BIG HO-HUM TO FELONIES COMMITTED BY A FELLOW LEFT WINGER...including the unlawfull carrying of a concealed weapon.

is just another (not so novel) way of ducking the facts and excusing illegal acts by a fellow left winger...meanwhile supporting the wholly unjustified invasion of the privacy of lawful firearms owners.

Lousy attribution is just that. We're not talking about the NYT or WaPo here--it was a "Daily Calller" blogger for petes sake. Actually getting something/someone on the record here is not asking for much.

If you feel that calling you distinguished is ridicule, so be it. I don't understand though, because you continually tell us how wonderful you are.
Again, thanks for the clarification and enlightenment. So WaPo, NYT, (would NY Post qualify?) are exempt but blogs are not. OK, then it applies to HuffPO, digitaljournal, crooksandliars, mediate, livewire, rollingstone, gawker, salon, and all the other blogs you and your buddies continually cite.

One more time;
Actual videotape...tape recordings...and actual quotes from transcripts ...count much more than some blogger posting an op-ed rant with zero sources or attribution.
I just can't be any clearer. That's why I like sites like Mediaite or Huff or C&L etc etc. You can't argue with the tape--but I can be suspicious of "I heard, or someone told me, but I saw it on Fox..."
