In the latest example of the Romney campaign running off the rails, we learned during a daytime TV interview that Mitt is a fan of Jersey Shore's Snooki -- and her "sparkplug" personality.

The guy always looks so awkward when trying to look like one of the "common people."

And this interview has REPUBLICAN strategists shaking their heads. The Washington Post got GOP reaction:

“'Deaver is turning over in his grave,' said one prominent Republican strategist, referring to Michel Deaver, the late image-maker for Ronald Reagan. The Republican asked for anonymity, because he did not want to go public with his growing despair over the GOP ticket’s prospects for winning this fall."

Yep. While President Obama was delivering a dignified, touching eulogy for the four fallen Americans returned from Libya to Joint Base Andrews today, Mitt was giggling about Snooki's sparkplug personality.

Again, no one else thinks they are TRYING to lose?

How many shit-ass mistakes, blunders, misspeaks, lies, trip ups, flip flops, poor timing, etc., do you have to make before it appears to be an overall intentional purpose?

*shakes head*

I do. But the question is: Why?

By all accounts, this election should have been a runaway for ANY challenger to the incumbent, if I am understanding past voting patterns correctly.

So why does it look like Obama is a shoo-in? The NYT said that if every registered voter actually voted, he'd get 91% of the vote. 91%!!!!!

When you have electoral delegates RESIGNING rather than vote for the party's nominee, it's pretty much a WTF moment.
