It's been several years since I've issued a press release. Not only wasn't I a pro then, I just don't know how or where to release them these days.
I'm not afraid to pay if someone will read it, but I don't want to just add one more item to the PRWeb scrap heap that nobody reads.
Where should I post a press release so that it has some chance of being read?
Any guidance appreciated.

Where to post press releases
Someone in my LI group posted ths response in a similar discussion:
"I have used PRNewswire extensively in EMEA and a couple times adding North America to the mix. Gotten lots of hits (hundreds, in fact) on web sites - i.e. they post the press releases, but we haven't gotten many actual news articles by journalists. We usually have releases translated into 4 or 5 European languages and do the translations in house rather than use PRN's translation service. Their European team are a joy to work with. Had one bad experience with the US team."
Hope that helps
