Maybe Putty-Putt looked into Mitt's eyes and saw his soul. Putin has lots of praise for Romney in a new interview: "I'm grateful to [Romney] for formulating his stance so clearly because he has once again proven the correctness of our approach to missile defense problems." Putin says Romney's statements have "strengthened [Russia's] resolve to oppose NATO's plan for a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe, a system Russia believes will degrade its nuclear deterrent.' The U.S. insists the system is aimed at Iran, not Russia. So, Romney is hurting our chances to protect the U.S. and Europe from Iranian missiles. His lack of foreign policy chops has Romney wanting to fall back on old Cold War policies -- while China is the real, rising threat. And his efforts at making Russia a renewed "enemy" plays into Iran's hands. Way to go, Mitt. One more example of how Romney is no where near ready to lead this country on the world stage. |

Would this be the same missile defense shield that Obama has railed against? And of course, Putty supports Obama's position. So does Ahmadinejad. |

No, it wouldn't be, any1... It's the missile shield Obama has supported. It's even part of the Democratic platform. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/Special/2012/09/05/Obama-committed-to-missile-defense/UPI-36521346862827/ |
