SENATE DEMOCRATS OK "GOVT SHUTDOWN"

Hey, notch brain...
Obamacare IS very popular. Of the 60% who disapprove, a large number feel it didn't go far enough. Polls that ask how people feel about it when told of what is inside the bill show an 87% approval rate. The bill has been poisoned by right wing propaganda which has been regurgitated ad nausea by the idiots in the media who wouldn't know how to actually conduct an interview if their multi million dollar salaries depended on it...

"media professionals' board" Line gave Karen Penner/Grateful Deadline away.
Grateful can't alter her passive-aggressive behavior no matter what id she uses.

Don't give up Karen/Grateful . Ask yourself these questions.
What's up with that hacking scandal?
Why was Hiltzik suspended by the LA TIMES?
Grateful/Karen, Kaiser is a well known supporter of universal health care and the ACA.
Look closer at Kaiser. Show us your journalistic skills.

How sweet that you guys are so concerned with my identity. It hasn't bothered anyone for the past, oh, how many years, but it bothers you whose name showed up last week so much that you turn from flogging Democrats to flogging me. What power I have!
This forum is a waste of time. That's the bottom line. It's boring -- the same old brainless shit in every single thread. I do check back periodically (last time was summer) to see whether anyone has come on who has anything going on north of the neck, and it's disappointing every time. How sad to take a company's open forum and destroy it. For what? What's the satisfaction in it for you?
It's only a matter of time before this embarrassment to MediaBistro gets shut down. You can already see that MB has quit removing spam from the board.

I guess you'd be happy if
everyone here wore Mao jackets, marched in step and dutifully spouted nothing but the party line. Nothing to "ruin" the comfort level of the socialist Democrat "journalists" here.
Sorry...that ain't gonna happen. As long as this is a free country you arrogant narrow-minded intolerant a**holes will have to put up with we conservatives exercising our right of free speech.

What an idiotic post from 2oldcruztwit.
Of course you have the right to be stupid. Of course you can continue to lie, as long as it's not under oath. Please, make sure everyone knows YOU are the republican party.

"arrogant narrow-minded intolerant a**holes"
It's just wrong for you leftist posters to be that way.

barrycade is a thing.
From the Urban Dictionary
1. A barrier (usually temporary) that exists for no reason. 2. A barrier erected for political reasons.
"Dude, Obama barrycaded the park."
"Hey, let's put up some barrycades to keep those World War II veterans away from the open-air World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., in order to try and score some cheap political points."

Barrycade! Ha Ha Ha!!!!!
Oh Notch, I thinkerate you have a familiar syntax to your posts.
Have you met con/puzo/freedom/may? I beleeverate you two would get along great.
You're both hilarious and blame democrats for things republicans do without irony. Say, do you think it's racist to call someone a racist when they say something racist?
Now con/puzo/freedom/may often asks about my butt and whether or not it hurts. So no worries there. My butt and its level of pain are being monitored already. Just saying.
So welcome. It already feels like you've been here for years!!

I about split my sides laughing over the sorry attempt in this thread to discredit the results of a national survey because Michael Hiltzik wrote an article about them.
So much for it being a deep, dark nefarious intrigue that caused the LA Times to suspend (not cancel) Hiltzik's blog. Here it is, from the Times itself on April 28, 2006 (that's correct -- more than SEVEN YEARS AGO):
"The L.A. Times has suspended Pulitzer-winning business columnist Michael Hiltzik without pay, and discontinued both his column and his weblog, in response to the news that Hiltzik used psuedonyms on his blog and elsewhere to comment on Times-related matters, including his own work. From the editor's note:
"Hiltzik did not commit any ethical violations in his newspaper column, and an internal inquiry found no inaccurate reporting in his postings in his blog or on the Web. But employing pseudonyms constitutes deception and violates a central tenet of The Times' ethics guidelines: Staff members must not misrepresent themselves and must not conceal their affiliation with The Times. This rule applies equally to the newspaper and the Web world.
"Over the past few days, some analysts have used this episode to portray the Web as a new frontier for newspapers, saying that it raises fresh and compelling ethical questions. Times editors don't see it that way. The Web makes it easier to conceal one's identity, and the tone of exchanges is often harsh. But the Web doesn't change the rules for Times journalists.
"See more at: http://opinion.latimes.com/opinionla/2006/04/hiltzik_suspend.html#sthash.vlROnWXw.dpuf"
So there you have it: Hiltzik violated an LA Times house policy against using pseudonyms.
You guys are unbelievably brainless pot-stirrers. You wouldn't last a nanosecond in the news business.

Karen Penner/Grateful Deadline, some of us in the "biz" take issue with a journalist who uses sock puppets to reinforce his liberal views and the views of other journalist. "split my sides laughing" says a lot about your credibility or lack thereof.
A biased "survey" and a journalist with a dubious past shouldn't be offered as fact.
Since you value your Liberal bias over your credibility, this back and forth is pointless.

Sadly "pot stirrers" make up a major group within journalism these days. Not only do they last more than a nanosecond, they thrive and end up with their own shows.

Here's one of those questions that idiot "Notch Johnson" views as having "Liberal" bias:
" What ONE question would you most like to have answered to help you understand how the health care law will impact you and your family? "
Yep, an open-ended question.
Further proof that "Notch Johnson" exists here for posting lies (assertions he can't back up with facts) and attempting to start baseless arguments. He's a waste of time.
