Sarah Palin Sets African Americans Straight

"Sarah Palin is telling African-Americans that they don’t know what the word slavery means. Palin reacted to her use of the term slavery by saying that people are misinterpreting her."
Because, slavery wasn't about rape, murder and genocide -- in her book.
The voice of the TEA Party tries to wriggle out of another embarrassing gaffe -- without apologizing for her highly racist remarks.

Left wingers lean on accusations of racism
because they just don't want to admit their guy is grossly incomptent. His "several months" as an elected senator just does not give him the background for the job...and neither do his paradigm nor radical agenda.
This is the second thread in the last few minutes to try to take cover behind such accusations. But it's becoming like the boy who cried, "Wolf!"

and that has WHAT to do with what was said by..
st. sarah of the trailer trash?..
your Obama hatred syndrome has taken away whatever hint of rationality you may once have had..
leaving you a tired, worn-out old one-trick pony that no one much particular gives a shit about anymore..
but you're probably used to that, aren't you?

Perhaps if people stopped listening to her, quoting her, posting about her and providing links to sites that do so, she would become irrelevant. But people love to talk about her, and she gets a lot of publicity, and media sites know she will drive traffic UP.
She's an idiot. She isn't a a state governor, member of Congress, or a state representative. Why people continue to think she is relevant is astounding.
I suspect, if polled, most Americans would believe she is the governor of Alaska or a member of Congress. Very sad.

But she remains...
a public figure, and an outspoken leader of the far-right fringe of the GOP. She is able to raise large chunks of money for TEA Party candidates, has been sought by right wingers for her endorsement and blessings in primary challenges.
As long as she serves as a rally point for the extreme right, she remains not only relevant, but also a powerful political voice that should not be ignored -- but exposed.
She went after Pope Francis earlier this week -- saying he was being influenced by the "librul media."
She caught enough flak in the last couple of days from Catholics around the world, she finally apologized to the Pope.
Holding her accountable for her words and actions force her followers -- and she has enough of them to screw up the GOP for years -- to see her for what she is.
That's how you make her irrelevant.

According to posters on this board the tea party is irrelevant. Since she fund raises for them, well, that proves she isn't doing a good job, fund raising for irrelevant candidates? For a party of no consequence to America?
What makes her irrelevant is ignoring her. Once you "challenge" someone's words, YOU have made them relevant by giving them weight and asserting that people *do* take her seriously enough to address.

No one on here...
claims the TEA Party is irrelevant.
There are plenty of us who continue to point out the TEA Party is destroying the Republican Party.
That makes them very relevant.
Not too bright, but relevant.

Notice how etwinkie
always "adjusts" his position so he can always be "right" when he makes his "last word" post.

Another mixed bag IMO;
...I agree with beenthere (and pretty much everyone else) that Palin's an idiot...
But I don't see the connection to the president--"Left wingers lean on accusations of racism because they just don't want to admit their guy is grossly incomptent" What the HELL does that have to do with Palin??
And I don't remember anyone saying the Teabaggers are "irrelevant". Dangerous, dumb, misguided, flamboyant flag waving idiots maybe, but hardly irrelevant. These clowns are capable of shutting down the government because of the spineless GOP Leadership--they're hardly irrelevant.
PS to Quint: You're just a pig.

besides that, st. sarah of the trailer trash..
has no right to infer that ANYONE is "incompetent".. or even be connected with that sentiment..
although she's probably an expert on it, given her record as the half-governor of Alaska..

Sarah has media locked in a guarded room -- then escorted off the property at her Wal-mart book signing -- after gracing them with her holy presence for all of five minutes.
Oops! She forgot about the Twitter, doncha know!
This is the kind of narcissist our extreme right wing brethren here keep defending.
