... I'll pop the cork and wish y'all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
To cruiser, I wish one sincere smile of joy -- not derision -- that cracks his face before he even notices he liked a moment in life.
To cruiser's other screen names, I wish everything. Really.
To beenthere, I wish the end of black helicopters, chemtrails, schemes, spies, intrigues and treachery waiting just outside the door. It must be really interesting to eat lunch at your table in the company cafeteria.
To newscred, I wish access to news outlets, that he would be able to check news reports before posting that there haven't been any.
To mp, I wish your wife a return to health, and to you both, lots of enjoyable time together.
To ES, an opportunity to throttle back from looking up and posting information for our research-challenged posters. You work too hard for people who don't appreciate it.
To VTexan and orth, a continuation of the balance that you've found by disengaging from this forum.
To cruster, a continuation of the much-needed levity that you bring here. Thank you. The first rule of forums: Never take anything said on them seriously, nor any poster or even yourself. Especially yourself.
May y'all make 2014 a year of achievement, good health, satisfying friendships and prosperity.
Wow -- 2014 has arrived in Riyadh and Kuwait City and is heading next for Istanbul and Cairo!

Hopefully, you will take some much needed time off this forum for media professionals.
Enjoy life. Take a vacation.
All that angry can't be good for your health.

Happy New Year to All
Cowboy Quinn, may you have a joyous year thinkerating up new troll posts and screen names.
From one media professional to... well... you.
Happy New Year.

How sad is the life of a troll? Poor cruster spends all news year's eve trolling posters.
I'm getting ready to go out and celebrate with friends.
Recover and watch football tomorrow.
Monday i go back to work. After a rough few years, 2014 is looking promising. Can't wait.
You? More trolling for the cause, general cruster?

(Saw this posted in a forum by someone who does all of the above, making that forum a better place to be.)
The first rule of forums: Never take anything said on them seriously, nor any poster or even yourself. Especially yourself.
Second rule: Never get defensive. Never. If someone disses you, AGREE with them. Nothing deflates an insult quicker.
Third rule: Never counterattack head on. Come in sideways with camoflauge. Tickle their feet while raising the hatchet over their head.
Fourth rule: Make it funny. The world needs funny. If you can't make it funny, learn to be the straight man and lob pitches.

Thanks for the Promotion!
But General should be capitalized since it's a title. And please, respect the rank cowboy.
Your vague personal insults need work. Go back and read some of cruiser's. You'll get better after time. Remember, it helps to be specific at first, then vague, then vanish. Egregious ad hominems indubitably!
As we watch Americans embrace the ACA and reject the nontroversies of Benghazi, etc. I look forward to the frustration of my friends on the right in 2014.

Thanks for the good wishes, guys!
I'm up past my eyeballs in work through at least the first half of the year, but I'll probably check in from time to time to see if there's anything new.
Keep it light, and keep it in perspective. Put your time into effort that means something. It pays better, for one thing.
