The following should reinforce for all time that President Obama IS, in fact, a devotee of income redistribution...a socialist, if you will. He acknowledges it in his own words:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge3aGJfDSg4

By contrast, Mitt Romney epitomizes the old adage of, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and feed him for live."

http://thehill.com/video/campaign/250183-romney-pushes-new-audio-of-old-obama-redistribution-comment

Oh, and this should also clear up left wingers' deliberate and egregiously untruthful talking points about Romney's "47%" remarks. It is abundantly clear that he favors encouraging self-sufficiency rather than the discredited Marxist communal approach, which encourages laziness and malingering, as the American colonists discovered in the early days...and which currently costs the US billions in unnecessary welfare payments.

CRUZO IS A PRETTY BIRD!

SQUAWK!

CRUZO WANT A CRACKER!

Excellent job at parroting Mitt's talking points.

Problem is, that the Obama record doesn't show any effort at "socialist" redistribution of wealth.

On the other hand, Mitt's claim that half the country have victim mentalities and refuse to take responsibility for themselves show Mitt's privileged background and utter disdain for the American people.

But good job at trying to say -- "Look, Obama did something first!"

You're a good bird!

cruiser Posted - 9/19/2012 11:35:33 AM | show profile | flag this post

And when you've got nothing

you resort to ad hominem...as always.

anonymous 1 Posted - 9/19/2012 11:37:21 AM | show profile | flag this post

But, but,but,butttttttttttttttttt..................... Obama is nooooooo socialist.

Note the liberal media defended Obama on his "bitter clinger" comments and Clinton's "i taxed you too much" comments.

But they attack Romney non-stop.

annoymous 1 Posted - 9/19/2012 11:45:26 AM | show profile | flag this post

but then

Mitt Romney keeps on giving and giving and giving ammunition to the libs. cruiser's source had to go back 14 years to find that sot from Obama. At least Romney keeps his inelegant supply of comments fresh.

Darn that Mitt. He makes me guffaw!

Grateful Deadline Posted - 9/19/2012 11:49:55 AM | show profile | flag this post

** By contrast, Mitt Romney epitomizes the old adage of, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and feed him for live." **

Ha! This fits perfectly with what Bain Capital with Mitt at the helm did to so many businesses, because after those companies failed, fishing was a way for their former employees to put food on the table.

cruiser Posted - 9/19/2012 11:54:36 AM | show profile | flag this post

Weak

VERY weak.

About what I'd expect from someone who's egotistically driven to "fire the last shot" but doesn't have any ammunition.

anonymous 1 Posted - 9/19/2012 11:57:37 AM | show profile | flag this post

GD is definitely firing blanks.

annoymous 1 Posted - 9/19/2012 12:01:31 PM | show profile | flag this post

and then

cruiser depends on the librul gubmint for his very survival and he depends on depends for, you know.

This whole thread

shows that the Romney Camp is in desperate mode--and cruise is happy to play along.

Drudge, Fox, and cruise bring up a FOURTEEN yr old tape of Obama talking about "redistribution". The quote in question?

"I think that the trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources and hence facilitate some redistribution. Because I actually believe in redistribution — at least to a certain level to make sure that everybody’s got a shot."

What the hell is wrong with that? Cruise, if you think redistribution=socialism--invest in a dictionary..

Every time we pay our taxes it's redistributed--even into things that has NOTHING to with us. I didn't want Bush to invade Iraq--but I helped pay for it. Do you bitch when Republican Governors ask Washington for OUR money to help them battle wildfires or floods?? That's redsitribution. Same thing with tornado or hurricane relief. Seriously. Re-building the levees in Lousiana was Socialism???

Let's be perfectly clear here--Romney was just not talking about the 'people who would never vote for him'--he was talking about those who don't pay income tax are lazy bums. "[M]y job is is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

First of all--as POTUS--IT IS your job. Second; it's been pointed many times that those who don't pay income taxes include the elderly, disabled and soldiers. Most of the rest?? nearly two-thirds pay payroll tax and the “true freeloaders” are actually comprised of those making less than $20,000 a year. In other words--THEY'RE WORKING. They just don't make enough.

Bringing up the "Socialist Card" now is pure deflection from another disastrous wee for Romney. What's next? Rev Wright??

Like always

when left wingers don't have an answer, they dredge up a lot of unrelated crap in an effort to obfuscate the issue.

etaoin shrdlu Posted - 9/19/2012 2:47:43 PM | show profile | flag this post

You mean like...

a 14 year old video clip taken out of context?

cruiser Posted - 9/19/2012 2:47:59 PM | show profile | flag this post

Besides, you dishonest idiot,

I didn't see where you took your left wing brethren to task for dredging up Romney's HIGH SCHOOL prank in an effort to villify him. That was a WHOLE LOT OLDER than fourteen years...and had ZERO to do with policy.

it's just tv folks Posted - 9/19/2012 3:02:46 PM | show profile | flag this post

2oldcruztwit considers

assault with a deadly weapon a "prank"? 2oldcruztwit considers a hate crime a "prank"? 2oldcruztwit considers bullying a "prank"? 2oldcruztwit is quite an inconsequential old bastard.

etaoin shrdlu Posted - 9/19/2012 3:16:26 PM | show profile | flag this post

There's a huge difference...

between a 14 year old comment taken out of context and Mitt Romney carrying out what would be considered a criminal assault, cruzo.

If you can't see that, you have some serious problems with making basic judgements.

mpdodgson Posted - 9/19/2012 3:16:29 PM | show profile | flag this post

The subject this week

is Romney insulting the millions of Americans out there who WORK--and pay payroll taxes, but don't make enough to pay income taxes (not to mention the elderly and soldiers). And remember the quote of the week--" I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

So--the Repubs and cruize dig up up a fourteen year old quote from Obama--which makes perfect sense btw--

BUT--BUT--We're the ones guilty of "dredge up a lot of unrelated crap in an effort to obfuscate the issue."

The hypocrisy there is staggering.

"The subject this week

is Romney insulting the millions of Americans out there who WORK--and pay payroll taxes"

Ummmmm... Not really. More like Romney insulted those Democrat voters who think its the job of government to take care of them.

So please. This video "with minutes missing" is a flop.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/story/2012-09-18/obama-romney-swing-states-poll/57803524/1

The liberal media narrative about Romney isn't moving voters towards Obama.

What's next for the liberal media? More Romney dog stories? Or bashing Romney's wife and kids?

mpdodgson Posted - 9/19/2012 4:25:11 PM | show profile | flag this post

Right.

"More like Romney insulted those Democrat voters who think its the job of government to take care of them."

There are no Republicans on welfare or food stamps or WIC. None. No retired Republicans on Social Security or Medicare. None. No Republicans working their asses off to support their families--but make too little to owe more taxes than they've already paid. None. No disabled Republicans. None. No Republican soldiers on active duty who don't pay income tax. None. No widows of soldiers who live off the death benefit. None.

You realize how ridiculous you sound?

anonymous 1 Posted - 9/19/2012 6:43:24 PM | show profile | flag this post

Realize what a fool you are? Most clear thinking people know what Romney is talking about. Hell, those Democrats who believe the government should take care of them know who Romney is talking about.

They will always vote democrat. That is why Democrats run on " republicans gonna take away yo welfare".

That is why this lame a** attempt by libs and the media(one in the same, i know) has failed.

cruster Posted - 9/19/2012 7:10:55 PM | show profile | flag this post

Just Adding Hominems

That's all you libs do. Every time a conservative posts talking points and fails to back them up with "facts" you point it out.

Just like when Romney speaks and the obedient media quotes him verbatim, making him look stupid.

Libs love the truth because it makes us look stupid.

You just keep adding hominems.

etaoin shrdlu Posted - 9/20/2012 9:50:24 AM | show profile | flag this post

What "missing minutes?"

Any1 is clearly out of the loop that the initial release had a production error that did clip some of the whole video. That was corrected almost immediately and the WHOLE video with NO MISSING MINUTES was released.

Try to keep up.

This is just one more example of how uninformed Any1 is.

etaoin shrdlu Posted - 9/20/2012 10:00:08 AM | show profile | flag this post

BTW...

while Mother Jones released the WHOLE video of Romney and the context was unchanged, Romney's side selectively edited the Obama soundbite to take it out of context.

Now THAT whole video has been released: "That omission features additional words of praise for 'competition' and the 'marketplace' by the then-state senator."

http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/19/13971913-in-rest-of-98-clip-obama-speaks-of-competition-and-the-marketplace?lite

Ouch!

anonymous 1 Posted - 9/20/2012 10:57:24 AM | show profile | flag this post

Speaking of uninformed, is parts of Romney's speech missing?

Yes it is.

Did Corn tell his brain dead readers? Did the liberal media report this fact? NO. Instead, Corn lied, denied, tried to cover it up.

Bloggers, doing the work the liberal media won't do, exposed the lie.

Corn-"According to the source, the recording device inadvertently turned off. "

Sure it did........

etaoin shrdlu Posted - 9/20/2012 11:25:25 AM | show profile | flag this post

That's a first!

Because, having worked 30 years in broadcast news I have never once seen so much as a single gap in raw video. The camera is rolling nonstop from the time it's picked up in the morning until it's set down at night. Not a single instant withing 360-degrees of the camera is ever missed!

[Turning off sarcasm]

Now, your latest post, Any1, shows you know nothing about video -- further damaging your credibility.

The WHOLE recording was released.

And, on top of that, the whole Obama video has been released, too.

It shows that, unlike the Romney tape, Obama was taken out of context.

it's just tv folks Posted - 9/20/2012 11:41:14 AM | show profile | flag this post

what's interesting

(besides any1's poor grammar) is that when part 2 begins, there is a person kind of leaning on the counter/table/whatever like they're shielding the camera, then move out of the way.

As someone with hidden camera experience, I know first hand how things can go wrong. Batteries always died. Back when the cameras recorded to tape, the tape was always close to the end when something good started happening.

I do think something happened with the camera. The person in front was shielding the person working on restarting the camera. We don't know when they realized the camera was no longer recording. We don't know what caused the camera to stop recording. It does appear that there was a camera restart. It's not logical for anyone to purposely shut off a hidden camera in the field. This is my professional opinion.

Of course any1, you are entitled to your own opinion. Why don't you take a look at part 2 of the video and see what you think.
