Sue Carswell is a reporter and researcher for Vanity Fair. Her expertise ranges from story development and strategic planning to reporting, writing, and editing editorial content including pop culture, lifestyle, and hard news. Prior to this, she was editor-at-large at Women's Health, a contributing launch editor for O, The Oprah Magazine, and a correspondent for People magazine. Her celebrity interviews include Katie Couric's first cover story, Samuel Jackson's first interview, and Caroline Kennedy's first print interview.
Sue has also worked in television as a senior story editor for Good Morning America and in publishing as an executive editor at Crown (Random House Inc.) and senior editor at Simon & Schuster, Inc. She is also a ghostwriter, speechwriter, and author of the memoir Faded Pictures From My Backyard.
