is having convinced itself that it is always right. Because of this mindset, civil discussion and a rational exchange of ideas is impossible. See this forum for an abundance of examples. |

"having convinced itself that it is always right" Holy cow. If that doesn't describe Dick Morris and Karl Rove (and almost everyone else) on Fox covering the Presidential Election--as well as the whole Romney campaign--I don't know what does. Time pundit Michael Grunwald wrote this week: "It's easy to see why Republicans are freaking out. The electorate is getting more diverse, less rural, more educated, less evangelical--in short, less demographically Republican. It's also getting less hostile to gays, gun control, even government--in short, less ideologically Republican. So ever since President Obama gave them a second drubbing, despite a supposedly disqualifying unemployment rate, GOP elites have admitted that America isn't producing enough angry old white guys for them to win national elections, that they can't be the party of no or the Tea Party party or the stupid party. That's progress! The problem is figuring out what needs to change." These days, the party line is that Republicans need to change their approach to politics—message, tone, technology, strategy. They shouldn’t make repulsive comments about rape, question Obama’s birth certificate, brag about their unwillingness to compromise, or suggest that 47% of their fellow citizens are moochers. They should repair their relationship with data, so they won’t be flabbergasted when election night doesn’t ratify the predictions of their pundits. They need to use Skype, improve minority outreach, and stop behaving like crotchety reactionaries who scream “You lie!” during presidential speeches to Congress." -------- So what do we see this week? Cantor yesterday, and Boehner today--saying 'Wait a minute!! Maybe this "Dream Act" isn't such a bad idea after all....Wow. Doesn't take an anvil to fall on these guys does it?? |

What a Random and Stupid Post! Once again hero cruiser strikes a stupid blow by posting something that reflects nothing more than seething hatred and frustration he dare not speak to living people for fear of a severe beating. The bar dips again, as this conservative giant marches down into the pit with his arguments. Reduce the discourse, and then even the very stupidest right wing idea will seem tame by comparison. A true hero. |

dogson, I've been trying to determine how your screed fits into the topic. The final determination is...it doesn't. It's just an irrelevant rant. Therefore it doesn't deserve a response. |

The most significant failure of the RIGHT wing is having convinced itself that it is always right. Because of this mindset, civil discussion and a rational exchange of ideas is impossible. See this forum for an abundance of examples. Wow! It fits perfectly! |

You only think that because you've convinced yourself that you're right all the time. It's an insidious condition of which you are not aware. |

>>> The most significant failure of the RIGHT wing is having convinced itself that it is always right. Because of this mindset, civil discussion and a rational exchange of ideas is impossible. See this forum for an abundance of examples. <<< This isn't true. This forum happens to have been cursed by a person who exhibits only his own personality disorder, not a political mindset. Your constant comments feed him. You get what you nurture, ES. Apparently, you get some inexplicable pleasure out of it, or you would do your part to stop it. |

Again, fish in a barrel, Grateful... sometimes you just have to take a perfect set up and....SLAM-DUNK. The initial post was so indicative of a non-thinking person's post -- it demanded to be put in perspective. The response I got only confirmed it. Just doing my part to show the "casual readers" here proof that our resident troll is just that. |

Everybody already knows it. If you would quit demonstrating it at every opportunity, you might soon not need to demonstrate it. That's how it works. For everyone's sake, please join orth's club. |
