"All the polling based aggregates - from FiveThirtyEight, to HuffPollster, to Real Clear Politics - got the result right. Given Obama's narrow Florida lead (at time of writing), it seems that both FiveThirtyEight and HuffPollster went 50 states for 50 states."

Meanwhile, the snake oil doctors over at "Unskewed Polls" had this prediction up on their site this morning after the election:

"The QStarNews projection of the 2012 presidential race sees Mitt Romney being elected the next president of the United States with 53.63 percent of the popular vote and 359 electoral votes to President Obama's 45.92 percent and 179 electoral votes."

After watching this year and seeing the bettors' predictions, I'm relying on Vegas odds now for each election.

They have no viewpoint of any kind, no emotional attachment to any candidates.

The house always wins.

oh my. how bad did romney lose last night? a site that's main purpose is to spin data + for a side got it wrong. that has never happened in the history of elections.

one more thing. taking polling advice from a site that offers to improve your credit score? not something most will do.

This is purely

a gloat. I fully expect this kind of gloating for the next several weeks from an immature and childish subset of the left wingers here...those who don't have the strenth of character to resist.

Reminds me of Obama shortly after his 2008 victory: "I won...I'm the president." That had no purpose except to stroke his own ego.

Yes, the real pollsters had it all along...

The fake ones who Fox News and Drudge kept using were way off base...Guess it's that biased media once again...getting it right on the money. Actually 538 may come in short...They said 313 for Obama...he has 303 now but could push it up to 332 if he gets FL...too funny...a great day for America!

The Election Over Sampled Obama Voters

The fact is, too many people who supported Obama were allowed to vote. This is a complete breakdown of the way the system is supposed to work.

Once the media decided to go into the tank for Obama, they began sending out magic signals from our TV's, radios and internets. In short, Americans were brainwashed by Kenyan magic.

What other explanation is there? It can't be that this was, in fact, the will of the electorate... right?

Well, my, my my...look at that, Cruzo has already posted his bitter retorts about gloating Democrats. Like you wouldn't be gloating if your man Mitt won? Come now - I thought you would still be picking crow feathers out of your teeth! ;-) Have a great day Cruzo, your man Mitt - he's unemployed now, maybe he can go and get one of those jobs he sent to China and work for once in his life.

Oh, and BTW - Obama won in Popular votes AND Electoral votes. Before the president leaves office liberals will have re-taken control of the United States Supreme Court.

Goodbye Citizens United. It's only a matter of time.

When he oh-so-intelligently calls you a name, Nikon, it means you hit the nail on the head!

Thank heaven it's over, and that both the popular and electoral votes went the same way.

Lick your wounds, forum cons, and try joining the American conversation for the next four years. This is a country of inclusion. Get used to it.

expect a bit of narcissism from obama . well, maybe a lot.

sociopaths can't help themselves.

liberal fellation over obama's win will last for weeks on this board.

did we expect the left to act different? remember, these are the same people who had to seek therapy after 2000, 2004, elections. hell, they even had a disorder named especially for them.

with the dow dropping and the dollar lower- the rest of us know what obama's re-election means. continuation of the weakest recovery in american history. and many shouts of RACIST! when obama is criticized.

So right GD -

mpdodgson Posted - 11/7/2012 1:45:37 PM | show profile | flag this post

Is there ANYONE

with a pulse who doesn't believe that the cons would be gloating this morning if the results were reversed?? Seriously??

cruiser Posted - 11/7/2012 2:04:59 PM | show profile | flag this post

Is your speculation...

and it IS purely speculation...intended to justify immature and childish actions by your left wing brethren?

con Posted - 11/7/2012 2:10:36 PM | show profile | flag this post

well, they do it too!!!!! is always the defense of leftwing posters on this board.

I'm Loving the Anger

from my right wing compatriots!

You guys are inspiring with this partisan rancor and name calling. It is a message to me, nay, to the nation, to keep up the bickering and petty disagreements!!

With support, we can force this nation into a deeper recession and destroy America under Obama.

Then we can rebuild it with NO taxes at all. Just profits from the post apocalyptic small business opportunities that will rise from the ashes. Talk about Atlas shrugging!!!!

If you ask me, the only way to prove you truly love America now is to destroy it.

No one is more qualified than my fellow conservatives posting on this board.
