the left wing pundits and the Washington press corps about the $85 billion sequester set to descend on the nation's capital in about two weeks.
But let's put it in perspective: If...and that's a BIG if...Obama's sequester actually goes into effect and that amount is sequestered each year until the $16.7 TRILLION federal debt is paid off, it'll take 196 years.
And the left wingers on here are stupid enough to believe the futures of our children and grandchildren...and several generations beyond...are NOT in hock? They think Obama can right the sinking ship of state by further taxes on "millionaires and billionaires?"
Put your thinking caps on people.

A good rebranding by brave and bold cruiser. Along with calling left wingers stupid. Let's blame everyone but the people responsible.
So this is what Benghazi was all about after all!!!
I count on this patriot to forget that it is republicans in congress responsible for the sequester.
Thinking caps on, memory OFF!

They already have their own.

And cruzo shows...
that even with deep cuts -- that have already idled two aircraft carriers, promises to cut training for 80% of ground forces, reduce economic growth by 2% in the second quarter and possibly throw the U.S. back into a recession -- it would still take 196 years to pay off the national debt.
As we've been saying all along, you can't reduce the debt without more revenue.
Spending cuts alone will not work.

Ironically; Paul Ryan
was on "This Week" on Sunday, and demonstrated again how some people forget about that thing called "videotape".
"ABC confronts Paul Ryan for praising sequester before using it to slam Obama"
“Don’t forget it was the president who proposed the sequester, it’s the president who designed the sequester,” Ryan told Karl..."
“Congressman, I’ve heard you say this, and this has been a talking point for Republicans for a long time,” Karl interrupted. “But let’s look at your own words, what you said right after the law putting this in place was passed in August of 2011. These are your words. You said, ‘What conservatives like me have been fighting for for years are statutory caps on spending, literally legal caps in law that says government agencies cannot spend over a set amount of money and if they breach that amount across the board sequester comes in to cut that spending. You can’t turn it out without a supermajority. We got that into law.’”
“Now, it sounds to me there like if you weren’t taking credit for the idea of the sequester, you were certainly suggesting it was a good idea,” Karl pointed out.
So; if Republicans pass the law--that's a good thing--but now that it's upon us--it's a bad thing--and it's Obama's fault.
What's crystal clear is that we need the big budget cuts, AND more tax revenue. No one administration or party got us into this mess...and it will take a bi-partisan effort to get us out. IMO.
