Did the news director at WGME leave?

WGME's news director is leaving next week. No one is sure why. At least she brought some journalism here and cleaned up some of the mess Rob left. For example, she saw right through Erin Ovalle. She didn't like the dumb blonde act and her prancing aound in short skirts holding a radar gun for a stupid Streets of Speed segment, so she let her go. She was never of Sarah or Dianna, so she got rid of them as well.
Kind of ironic that she is leaving, 6 got rid of their news director despite having tremendous numbers. Yes, bad numbers at 13, but still solid product, meanwhile, 8 still has their news director.

ACCORING TO AMY, THOSE NUMBERS ARE NOT HER FAULT. INSTEAD THE BLAME LIES WITH THE ANCHORS, REPORTERS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS.

Well..it is very clear that WCSH picked up tons of viewers who left WGME. That can't sit well for either WGME...or WMTW. AE's at WGME have to be scambing, hearing they are bringing in new blood for their sales team. They also need a new news director. Can't look good for Q1 demos. Also, word from some of the ad reps and buyers in the market, Dave Abel has been telling his contacts he is pissed with book and of his news department and they missed big opporunity with WGME numbers.

Former WMTW ND Dave Baer.....recently let go in Albany has applied for the job according to people from GME on the Street.
