| Job Requirements |
Responsibilities: The Associate Director of Digital Development is responsible for planning and executing a defined app and ebook strategy including, but not limited to:
. Manage one of our multi platform properties, both online and app experience.
. Manage a series of apps from analysis thru release including updates and upgrades.
. Create and own timing plans and all relevant documentation
. Assist in the building of development teams, both internal and external
. Assist in creating long term plans and budgets, aligning plans with product roadmaps and business requirements
. Ability to create wire-frames, product specifications and white papers
. Able to work collaboratively and effectively communicate design concepts between authors, editors, designers, and developers
. Act as liaison to executive management, marketing, sales, legal and contracts departments
. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
. Must be a self-starter, a team player and driven
. Ready to assist in departmental multi-platform efforts
Qualifications: . 3-5 years minimum experience in digital product development
. At least 2 years experience in app and/or virtual worlds development
. Strong project management skills
. Excellent communication skills
. Strong analytical and business skills
. Exceptional follow-through, management, organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and deadline management
. Knowledge of various industry leading software such as InDesign and Photoshop
. Knowledge of App Submission to Apple
. Basic knowledge of objective-C, Xcode, Cocos 2D, and/or Unity a plus
