We have an immediate opening for a Senior Editorial Assistant in the Department of Publications.
This is an on-site full time position located in Cambridge MA
Responsibilities include:
editing Academy publications, including Daedalus, the Bulletin, books, and research papers and monographs editing grant proposals, reports, and correspondence editing copy for the Academy website page layout of Daedalus
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 2 to 3 years of full-time experience in an editorial role Demonstrated ability to copyedit scholarly and journalistic prose Experience and competence with Microsoft Office Excellent written communication skills Experience with Quark Experience working in a membership-based, constituent-focused organization and/or in higher education a plus Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to manage ones time and prioritize numerous projects.
