Rate: up to $40 DOE freelance, around $70K - $80K full time
Job Description:
Well known retail / ecommerce client seeks conceptual copywriter for a freelance-to-hire role.
If selected you will be responsible for writing, editing and managing promotional marketing copy and benefit-oriented product copy for all Internet channels.
You must be able to effectively communicate product positioning, features and benefits to the target audience.
Requirements:
- Excellent copywriting, proofreading and fact finding knowledge
- Understanding of internet marketing fundamentals
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred
- 5+ years of successful direct response writing experience in a web-based corporation, interactive agency, or internet retailer (eCommerce)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ad agency experience is strongly preferred as you'll be working on an in-house creative team that functions much like an agency team!
