Job Requirements Playdom's mobile team is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Engineer for one of it's core games. You'll work with a small, fast moving team designing, building and owning features and leading the team to a successful launch. This studio has built many fun and successful games in the past. If you enjoy building games and have solid development experience come join us!

-Experience designing and developing applications running on mobile platforms
-Experience with mobile software development kit (SDK)
-Collaborate with front-end and backend and lead a team of engineers in developing and maintaining games
-Resolve defects, support testing effort, and deploy production code on a frequent basis
-Be a technical pillar for the engineering team through collaboration and mentorship of other engineers
-Analyze the technical feasibility of product features and help to guide feature development and roadmap from a technical perspective

-5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience
-3+ years of Web development and internet technology experience
-3+ years of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Development experience
-Experience writing code in at least two of the following: Objective-C, C++, C#, ActionScript, Java, or Java for mobile platforms.
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Experience working with RESTful API’s and networking
-Knowledge of Mobile Web, HTML5, JavaScript desirable
-Troubleshooting and fixing issues in mobile applications

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with Apache Tomcat or NGINX strongly desired
-Experience with relational and noSql databases
-Experience with Web-service development and Restful design patterns
-Experience building use case driven software with Agile Software Development and Test Driven Development methodologies
-Prior experience leading a fast paced team
-MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience required
