As a community journalist, you will be required to cover meetings and other evening events in the local community. |

Herald Community Newspapers is a 15-edition chain of award winning local weekly newspapers. We are looking for experienced journalists to report and edit several of our newspapers covering communities in Malverne/West Hempstead, and Rockville Centre on Long Island, New York. The focus of our paper is community news; on the people in the neighborhoods we serve, covering schools, events, government and the people, places and events that make our communities tick.
