Job Requirements The Associate Account Manager (AAM) is an entry level sales position with a major media company designed to expose the candidate to all business functions of the content licensing business. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by both the processing of the Account Managers’ (AM) orders and maintaining their own customer base. This requires clear and concise communication with both clients and internal resources to guarantee seamless delivery of materials to the AMs and their clients while ensuring quality service for the AAM’s own client base.

Multi-tasking and time management will be critical, as the AAM must organize and prioritize a wide variety of tasks so clients can move through the screening and licensing process smoothly. As the AAM develops a better understanding of the business, sometime will be spent developing their own client base and working with the sale manager on new development projects.

Job Responsibilities
• Work with new clients to obtain the required information and begin projects for the AMs
• Liaise with the Research team regarding AMs’ research request
• Liaise with the Research and Operations teams regarding AMs’ technical request
• Liaise with the Rights and Clearances team regarding AMs’ clearance requests
• Develop presentation materials for AMs
• Manage the entire sales, clearance and fulfillment process and set deadlines internally, making sure other internal resources meet their specific deadlines so clients receive the materials to meet their deadlines
• Maintain and “own” Salesforce records so the data is useful for both client interaction and future business development data
• Take on new request from all clients that cannot be managed by Account Managers
• Create invoices and process credit card transactions
• Develop clip bins for clients

Job Requirements
• Clear and concise communications skills are a must
• Time management and prioritization skills are a must
• Multi-tasking skills are a must
• Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Salesforce (or other CRM systems) not required, but highly preferred
• Understanding of general industry ecommerce concepts (clip bins, shopping carts) preferred
• Understanding of digital asset management systems preferred but not required
