Job Requirements Gannett Government Media has an immediate opening for a full-time Front-End Technical Producer. The candidate will be expected to work independently, with reporters and as assigned by editors, to design, code and publish online news and entertainment content for our military and defense audience. A minimum of two years experience as a technical producer or developer is preferred.

Candidates are expected to be thoroughly knowledgeable in the tools of their trade. Working on a PC platform, the ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash, Photoshop and other production tools as required. Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Dreamweaver and Apple platforms is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be an interactive journalist, capable of organizing a variety of content into story packages for our online readership. The job environment is fast-paced, deadline-oriented and often requires working on simultaneous projects while maintaining precision accuracy. This is a perfect opportunity for a talented interactive journalist to help pioneer innovation within a newspaper production
