Palgrave Macmillan is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented Associate Marketing Manager to join our friendly, creative and hardworking team. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the global marketing of our scholarly lists covering Economics, Finance, Business and Management.
Major Responsibilities:
Devising and managing annual promotional budgets for your lists Planning, briefing and delivering a range of marketing campaigns Building relationships within key communities/associations Market research and new product development Reporting & analysis of ROI on subject marketing activities Occasional travel in the US and internationally Required Skills / Knowledge:
· First rate communication skills and the ability to establish, develop, and maintain good working relationships within internal teams and externally with authors, customers and associates
· Effective marketing skills, including experience of planning and running a range of direct and digital campaigns, social media, advertising and events
· Outstanding organizational skills, a systematic approach to their work, excellent time management and the ability to prioritize effectively
· Ability to evaluate, adapt and work flexibly to achieve the maximum results in all areas of work
Experience Needed:
3 years experience in marketing Previous experience within publishing/ academic marketing would be desirable Educational Background Required:
Bachelors Degree

Palgrave Macmillan, a global cross market publisher of trade, scholarly and reference books is seeking an energetic associate marketing manager to handle an external imprint list. This position will interact with sales, marketing and publicity departments to create individual and subject based marketing campaigns for academic books. This position will work closely with the other members of the Academic Marketing team on subject area promotions and with the Marketing Manager to manage the account effectively. Desired candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, detail oriented, global environment and possess a daily positive, can-do attitude.
