Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Work with design and strategic partners to define the branded voice for client partners
- Apply creative and strategic writing skills to consumer product and corporate branding assignments.
-Develop compelling writing from strategic positioning or conceptual creative strategy to include messaging, copy platforms, taglines, etc. through to final client deliverables
-Work closely with internal marketing team to develop Lippincott’s brand voice and message
-Partner with marketing in the creation of internal and external firm communications including the development of POVs, reports and other marketing collateral
-Understand our clients' businesses and cultures
-Work effectively with cross-disciplinary internal teams.
Skills and Experience:
-Ability to apply creative and strategic writing to corporate branding assignments.
-Ability to write across communications channels including print, online, video
-Ability to coordinate and manage outside resources as needed
-Ability to apply knowledge of language and writing into copy, creative concepts and strategic frameworks.
-Ability to produce creative results independently as well as collaboratively.
-Proven writing experience, versatile writing style, and ability to deliver a range of voices in writing
-Ability to strike a balance between efficiency and creative output
-Ability to shift gears quickly and work on a range of projects across different industries simultaneously
-Experience in short form copy
-Demanding, optimistic and enthusiastic mindset.
-Understand varied brands, industries and cultures.
-6 years experience copywriting in the advertising, branding or related fields.
-BA degree in related studies.
-Knowledge of foreign language(s) a plus.
