| Job Requirements |
The in-school editorial project manager is responsible for managing corporate, non-profit, and/or government clients in the development of in-school educational print and digital programs.
Responsibilities include: -Take ownership of client relationships and project development from start to finish. -Communicate project details clearly with all members of the internal team including sales/marketing, editorial, design, copyediting, manufacturing, legal, digital, and corporate communications as well as external vendors/support staff. -Create schedules that operate efficiently within the scope of the editorial process. -Manage budgets to ensure that projects are completed close to or under budget. -Anticipate, identify, and solve schedule issues, client issues, and budget issues in advance in an effort to get ahead of problems. -Write print and/or digital editorial content that meets educational learning standards. -Assign and manage freelance staff if needed on a project by project basis.
Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize and organize work; resource management skills, problem solving skills; ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Teaching experience a plus.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, the Internet |
