Job Requirements Overview:

The Marketing Department of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is seeking a graphic design associate to assist in the creation of print and digital graphics for events and communications materials. As part of the marketing department, he or she will work with a team of content creators and developers as well as internal and external production points of contact to fulfill and implement CGI’s overall marketing strategy.


• Conceptualize and implement CGI marketing and event materials, including event space graphics, digital signage, Powerpoint presentations, web graphics, print collateral, and C-suite materials
• Coordinate with production team and relevant internal points of contact regarding graphics specifications, content, and print deadlines.
• Maintain and develop the visual brand identity of the organization
• Develop strategic concepts on a wide range of projects


• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1–2 years of design and production experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
• Excellent typography skills
• Working knowledge of web design and development
• HTML experience preferred. Working knowledge of CSS and web editors (i.e. Dreamweaver) a plus
• Event design experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to take projects from concept to completion
• Able to receive direction and information from multiple points of contact
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a very fast-paced environment
• A working knowledge of the print production process
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

• May require travel, which may require walking distances, lifting, and carrying luggage and boxes, and prolonged periods of sitting in tight quarters
• Significant computer work, which may require repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands
• Occasional lifting (> 15 lbs), bending, pulling, collating/filing, and occasional lifting, carrying, and/or moving boxes, files, etc., some of which could be heavy or require the use of carts
