Description
In this exciting role, the Manager of Email Marketing and CRM will be responsible for developing the email and communication strategy from first customer touch through driving active usage and advocacy. This individual will drive ooVoo’s CRM and life-cycle marketing channel using email, mobile push notification analytics and actionable insights to meet business objectives. The position will define testing and measurement of email marketing and CRM effectiveness. In addition, this individual will drive the development of tools, processes, and framework to ensure email operational efficiency and business and marketing alignment.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Provide vision, strategy and leadership for the Email and customer marketing channel
• Develop the email marketing strategy, including contact strategy, segmentation, A/B testing, content and creative optimization
• Recommend new strategies, innovative ideas and technologies to grow the channel
• Utilize customization, personalization and dynamic content to improve email communication
• Manage email marketing vendor(s) and budget
• Report on email marketing performance metrics and ROI analyses
• Drive improvements in database hygiene, data quality and deliverability.
• Automate repetitive processes to maintain an efficient, scalable email program
• Track and stay current with industry best practices and trends
• Interact with Chief Privacy Officer to ensure CAN-SPAM compliance
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and regions to ensure that customer-facing email, push notifications and customer messaging tactics are as effective as they can be

Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications
• 7+ years work experience in a marketing leadership/supervisory role, with an emphasis on email marketing and direct marketing
• Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining CRM marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
• Exemplary data-driven approach to CRM marketing and email tactics; the ability to derive creativity and actionable insights from data
• Strong project management skills with past experience managing a sizeable and global marketing budget.
• Excellent time management, presentation, communication, writing and organization skills.
• Strong vendor management experience
• Global experience preferred but not required
• Experience in the Digital/Online/Mobile App industries preferred
• Related Bachelor's degree
