Job Requirements Primary Responsibilities
• Manage workshop executions—determine and secure facilitator, oversee quality of instructor owned content outlines and workshops decks, oversee facilitator calls, handle ad hoc member communications, write Scopes of Work for corporate workshops, and oversee Master Service Agreement’s for more complex workshop agreements.
• Relationship management and sales including School of Marketing (SOM) capabilities calls, Member needs assessment calls, workshop sales calls, workshop information research and emails, prospecting, answer onsite delivery email questions.
• Facilitator management—relationship calls, brainstorming, workshop ideation, content reviews, contract negotiations.
• Workshop coordination in general including scheduling of calls.
• Travel required (50%) for workshop relationship management and/or content and facilitator oversight required.
• Other duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Existing knowledge of topical areas in the ad/marketing industry i.e. client/agency relations, media, integrated marketing, digital marketing, and more.
• Client–side marketing or relevant agency account experience (minimum 5 years preferred).
• Passion for the training discipline.
• Strong sense of personal ownership of responsibilities in results oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, analytical and problem solving skills.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and an organized self-starter who will take the initiative to get the job done with the ability to juggle managing workshops with working on other projects while on the road. We place a high value on relevant personal qualities: independence, energy, a flexible attitude, and a commitment to quality and teamwork. Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

In this member facing role, the Director, Training Relations would be responsible for managing multiple workshops including coordinating and executing half-day sessions and upgrades and one to multiple day corporate events, workshop relationship management, and facilitator oversight.
