||Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Marketing & Communications Associate will be part of a new marketing team that FSG has created to maximize lead generation efforts across channels and increase the firms brand recognition among all relevant parties. Reporting into the Director of Global Marketing & Communications, the Senior Marketing & Communications Associate is responsible for supporting the commercial organization to execute on FSGs multi-channel marketing strategy. The nature of the role makes it critical to the growth and engagement of FSGs community of emerging markets executives, expert advisors, potential partners and media. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Implement a Content-led Marketing Approach:
Collaborate with the marketing team to transition existing Salesforce.com from a pure sales tool to a comprehensive emerging markets community database that can be segmented appropriately for communications outreach.
Partner with Director of Global Marketing & Communications to develop targeted communication streams for clients, potential clients and expert advisors. Communication streams will include newsletters, research marketing, and meeting generation correspondences. Communications streams are then distributed using a marketing automation Salesforce.com application.
Interface with the FSG research team to develop market messaging and communication approach for newly released reports.
Execute on Multi-Channel Marketing Strategy
Contribute to formation and execution of multi-channel marketing strategy to increase inbound lead generation
Align social media efforts across the Emerging Markets Insights blog and FSGs presence on LinkedIn and Twitter
Pitch FSGs thought leadership to media outlets and event organizers
Collaborate on the creation of press releases for newsworthy developments at FSG
Track and report results of ongoing multi-channel marketing approach, and diagnose areas for improvement
Qualifications & Experience
2-4 years of work experience preferably in a marketing and communications role (corporate or agency)
High-level of comfort calling into organizations and speaking with a variety of stakeholders
Exceptional written communication skills
Exposure to Marketo, Eloqua or other marketing automation tools (preferred, but not required)
Exposure to Salesforce.com or other CRM tools (preferred, but not required)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and persuasion skills
Ambitious, driven and able to work autonomously in a goal-orientated environment
Collegial, and dedicated to the success of the team
Professional, responsible, self-motivated and disciplined
Strong executive presence
Demonstrated attention to detail
