Job Requirements ALM is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to provide both project management and marketing support for the Events Marketing team. This role is ideal for a savvy professional with strong organizational skills, digital/e-mail marketing expertise, creativity and a keen interest in marketing.

The successful candidate will be a detail oriented self-starter with strong written and oral communications skills. Professional maturity and the ability to manage highly time sensitive deadlines and simultaneously work on multiple projects required. Candidates must be team oriented and be able to work with diverse groups of people. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize workload and manage priorities. The ability to identify process or product improvements and impact change are a plus. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing, Legal Events.

Responsibilities:
Help drive attendee and sponsorship awareness of ALM’s Legal Events including signature events/dinners, webinars, virtual events, conferences and tradeshows. Execution of strategic marketing initiatives including but not limited to:
• Independent Execution of Marketing Programs - Manage specific tactical areas of marketing plans including: insertion orders, creative briefs, rental lists, proofreading, and digital promotions. Work closely with media partners and clients as needed.
• Email Campaign Management- Responsible for sending promotional emails. Upload lists and html files, manage opt-outs and pull email metrics for evaluation. Basic HTML knowledge helpful but not required.
• Website Auditing & Updating - Responsible for auditing and maintaining ALM Event websites on Cvent, ALM’s event platform.
• Social Media Marketing – Assist with posting/placing keywords and ads on Google adwords platform; Post announcements and start discussions via appropriate Social Media platforms
• Organize collateral for ALM events and tradeshows. Attend events to help with registration and set up as required. Help organize documentation needed for Virtual Events. Create Power Point presentations for signature events; work with creative team to develop signage and program guides for signature events.
• Assist clients with building microsites/virtual booths and support additional technical aspects of Virtual Events and Webinars as needed.

Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. in Marketing or Communications with an emphasis on Event Marketing preferred.
• 2+ years professional experience within a conference or event marketing firm
• E-mail marketing and digital expertise a must
• Some light travel may be required
• Experience with e-mail and event software
• Exposure to and experience with various social media platforms
• Excellent writing skills a must
• Basic understanding of html is helpful but not required
• Experience and Knowledge of Power Point is a must
• Excellent proofreading skills a must
