Ready to shape the future of digital advertising? †The Princ Product Manager, Strategy will work to assess and prioritize the long term planning and strategic direction for AOLís advertising products.. You will partner with product management, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to build go-to-market, product, economic and financial models for each of the product areas. The ideal candidate for this job is a strategic thinker who excels at framing problems and building the right analytic rigor into addressing them. This position involves significant exposure to senior management; consequently, this role requires someone who is highly motivated, combining exceptional strategic thinking, superior executive communication skills, project management experience, written and visual communication and quantitative skills.
1) Business strategy: You will provide pro-active thought leadership and lead projects with senior management to establish a credible, implementable, and sustainable business strategy that creates superior value for AOL. You will also support monthly business reviews and tactical initiatives that cut across multiple AOL groups, identify new opportunities for growth, and evolve strategic thinking on the future of information work.†
2) Portfolio evaluation: You will help manage the AOL Advertising product portfolios and provide frameworks for decisions that affect investments, acquisitions and divestments
3) Deals: You will work with the key business leaders within the division to drive the strategy development and focused execution of M&A, Strategic Partnerships, and Licensing deals.†
Skills/ Qualifications Required:
Ability to solve complex strategic problems; demonstrated strength and abilities in analysis, planning and developing strategy; able to teach others these skills.
Significant business management experience, with a strategic management consulting perspective.
Proven strong project management capabilities; comfortable working under deadlines and producing key deliverables.
Clear, precise and compelling verbal, visual and written communication skills; ability to build effective relationships with senior business partners; executive presence.
3 years of work experience from a top tier strategy consulting firm, corporate strategy, strategic marketing, corporate finance, corporate M&A, or top tier investment bank.†
MBA and/or BA or BS in a business-related field.
M&A deal and software industry experience preferred.
