BrightRoll Exchange (BRX) is looking for a senior leader to run its Strategic Accounts team on the West Coast. In this role the Director, Strategic Accounts will lead, manage and mentor an established team of Account Managers who are responsible for servicing BRX clients. The Director, Strategic Accounts will report to the Vice President of BrightRoll Exchange and be based at HQ in San Francisco.

What You’ll Do in This Role:

In this role there will be three primary responsibilities:

1. Team Management & Growth

  • Lead a team of 5+ Account Management Professionals setting goals for each team member and helping them achieve success
  • Hire and train additional talent to scale the team
  • Develop, establish, and implement team-wide policies and best practices that allows the team to expand rapidly

    2. Client Management: In conjunction with Sales Leads and Account Managers, you will deepen relationships with key buyers. This includes:

  • Deliver best-in-class service leading to a steady increase in revenue
  • Proactively solicit ongoing customer feedback
  • Establish and help lead quarterly business reviews with strategic buyers

    3. Internal Leadership

  • Be the primary internal voice for the Account Management team needs
  • Prioritize critical features to be built by the Product and Engineering teams
  • Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing and Research team leaders to help roll out new offerings and features to BRX buyers

    What We’re Looking For:

    The Hard Skills:

  • BS/BA Required
  • 8+ years of total client management and/or sales experience
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Significant experience managing teams in a service-focused role
  • Proven track record establishing and growing client relationships
  • Deep understanding of and experience in the digital advertising industry especially around the dynamics of exchange based buying and selling
  • Ideally experience with digital video advertising (web and/or mobile)
  • Proven track record working with the leads of other internal teams: marketing, product, engineering, etc.
