Job Requirements The Growth team at Pandora is responsible for increasing the acquisition, engagement and retention of Pandora’s 175 million registered listeners in the US, Australia and New Zealand. The VP of Growth will be a strong leader with deep quantitative analytical skills, strong drive, a creative mind and a passion for aggressively identifying, testing and implementing new solutions to further grow Pandora’s listener base and overall listener hours. The position reports directly to the CMO and will work cross functionally with other executives including our CEO, CTO, VP of Engineering and senior leaders of the Product Team.


  • Lead the Pandora Growth team and own the strategies and tactics for user growth, engagement and retention

  • Chair the cross-departmental data and analytics working group

  • Own all growth metrics and data reporting responsibilities

  • Communicate findings, recommendations and results to the company, the Executive Staff and the Board


  • 8 – 15 years of leadership experience in quantitative marketing, engineering or product

  • At least 3 years of experience growing, attracting and retaining a user base associated with a premium internet brand

  • Knowledge of best practices and scalable processes for building a Growth team and managing the analysis of data across an organization

  • Strong ability to persuade, influence and facilitate consensus-driven decision making

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and drive decisions

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a collaborative work style

  • BA or BS from top-tier undergraduate school. Relevant graduate degree including PhD or Masters in a relevant quantitative discipline preferred. MBA is a plus.
