Job Requirements We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented professional to head up CRM for our Vacation Rentals business. Reporting directly to the Head of Traffic for Vacation Rentals, and based in the Newton office, the Senior Manager of CRM will be responsible for managing and evolving the entire CRM Portfolio of vehicles. It is essential that the candidate quickly comes to grips with the build-measure-learn philosophy within the team, and takes charge of the necessary accounting systems to track performance. The person best suited to this role has the ability to dive into the details to ensure quality content, as well as the ability to see the big picture in order to optimize the returns from the CRM portfolio and to meet the challenging traffic targets set. In order to maximize traffic, the candidate will analyze the results of each vehicle on a weekly basis; evolve the existing contact strategy in line with TA wide CRM; identify and monitor the competition to bring context to decisions; drive important tests to consistently improve the performance of the portfolio; and quickly spot and correct inefficiencies in process to ensure that deadlines are met. The role will involve coordination with TA brand marketing team members; VR Product and Development team; VR On-site/Off-site marketing team and the wider TA CRM team as the products evolve. An ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up like environment. The CRM Senior Manager is also directly responsible for the management and development of the VR CRM Product Manager, and will have the opportunity to manage more people as the team expands.

Responsibilities:
-Create an optimum portfolio of VR CRM vehicles which deliver traffic goals set
-Set the appropriate tone of the emails and help to devise a CRM Brand Strategy
-Evolve the current CRM contact strategy in line with TA CRM developments
-Identify new vehicles to test and quickly pull vehicles which do not perform
-Manage the process in place by which emails are executed on a weekly basis and ensure deadlines are met
-Communicate the performance of the CRM portfolio internally
-Manage email marketing managers, who execute email campaigns, to maximize high quality traffic, in the geos where traffic is needed -Help Managers to coordinate development and delivery of acquisition and retention email programs, including promotional announcements, monthly newsletters, trigger programs and targeted campaigns -Conduct and analyze regular testing of subject lines, content, layout, segmenting approaches, etc. to improve program performance. -Perform weekly analysis to measure performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and customer engagement.

Specific tasks include:
-Prioritization of programming calendars and project schedules
-Sign-off of all VR Marketing Vehicles and ultimate responsibility for quality and performance
-Understanding and Development of VR Brand language and style
-Identification of all work-streams involved in the process of creating each email, and coordinate activities of PM Manager, design, content, external agency and engineering teams to meet multiple, interdependent deadlines.
-Build and rigorously test email campaigns, verifying copy, layout, links, and dynamic content as well as assessing and addressing any spam risks.
-Analyze and report on results of email and direct mail campaigns, leveraging learnings to improve future performance.

Requirements:
-10+ years of work experience in a professional setting, at least one year in a senior role in the online travel industry
-Previous experience managing a team, taking charge and developing the right CRM strategy in the context of a wider internal strategy
-A logical approach and a track record of getting results and turning things around quickly
-Good business judgment and an ability to keep on top of what the competition is up to
-Previous exposure to email marketing and branding required
-Ability to dive into the details and pull back up to a higher-level in order to guide the portfolio of CRM vehicles in the right direction
-Excellent project management, time management and problem solving skills.
-Excellent communication and analytic skills
-Sense of humor preferred
