Job Requirements
As Marketing Director, your mission is to create the marketing strategy and oversee campaign execution, develop product messaging, website, app store content, mobile, social and online advertising campaigns and maintain relationships with app discovery sites and other vendors. Your first challenge as a member of the Bee Team will be to lead the marketing launch for Bee*kin Beegins.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing strategy, including:

? Generate innovative and inspired out-of-the-box strategies.
? Create and implement marketing campaigns with brand and nonprofit partners, including email campaigns. Maximize partnership marketing opportunities.
? Ensure Bee*kin Beegins and future products are featured prominently in all app stores across platforms.
? Develop and implement PR strategy.
? Coordinate messaging to mom and gaming blogs with social media director.
? Assess and implement pay-for-promo and pay-for-placement opportunities.
? Define key performance indicators and implement measurement, analytics, and reporting to gauge success.
? Ensure brand strategy is consistent and appropriate for target market and the Bee Kompany’s social mission.
? Stay informed about competitive landscape and work with management team to respond to changes in the marketplace.

Job Requirements:

? 5+ years of experience in advertising, communications, social media, marketing, and/or public relations.
? Experience launching and growing an entertainment app is a must.
? Experience marketing children’s products would bee a real plus.
? Demonstrate deep understanding of the competitive market and use cases for mobile apps and app markets (App Store, Google Play, etc.)
? Proven track record of sales and list growth.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Exceptional interpersonal skills.
? New York City area preferred, but candidates working remotely will be considered

What We’re Doing

We are about to launch what we beelieve is the next great family entertainment franchise. It’s called Bee*kin. It's kind of like the Smurfs meets Mission Impossible... meets Space Balls. And it’s got serious pop culture potential.

We’re releasing a first-of-its-kind interactive appisode called Bee*kin Beegins in May 2013 (for tablets and smart phones on iOS/Android). In a nutshell, it's an episodic animated show and a game rolled into one.

Our primary target audience are kids ages 7-11 and their parents, but like Disney and Pixar, Bee*kin appeals to kids of all ages. Play testing has been strong with both core and ancillary markets.
