The Job

The Product Marketing Specialist will support the marketing, sales and business team by delivering in-depth insights and data-driven analysis of our market, trends and opportunities. They will participate in market strategy planning and development efforts to proactively advise on ways to leverage analytics to measure, assess and improve go-to-market strategies and increase market share.

The Manager will work collaboratively with the Director of Product Marketing and will contribute to product planning and strategy by providing ad hoc site analytics reports and identifying data-driven insights to opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze market research to inform development of market segmentation, strategies, programs, new solutions and enhancements to current solutions.
• Assist in developing market personas and represent the voice of assigned personas in event strategy and marketing communications deliverables.
• Ensure a consistent approach to tracking, gathering, and applying metrics to the product management process.
• Assist in developing and maintaining product roadmaps and development plans.
• Participates in the evaluation of product life cycles by preparing product reports (revenue, trends, etc.) that provide actionable recommendations on product positioning, pricing, promotion and competitive strategy.
• Assist in developing a comprehensive strategy to generate leads among prospective and existing clients.
• Ensure a metrics-driven approach to all marketing programs.
• Assist in developing compelling strategic messaging that integrates personas and market research.
• Assist the Director of Product Marketing in developing and managing go-to-market strategy for new products and services.
• Assist in developing strategic sales tools and sales training programs.
• Manages the dissemination of market research to the sales teams

The right candidate will be highly-analytical, knowledgeable in standard research methodologies, data analysis techniques and marketing procedures. They will also be
team-focused, innovative, have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent communication skills, have a passion for business development, and dedication to the success of the organization.

Expectations include doing the hands-on work required to make it happen, and analyzing results. Must be self motivated, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, have a sense of humor and show a high-degree of initiative.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in marketing or business.

• 3-5 years of experience in product market analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, CRM database-Salesforce.com
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
